With Sullivan Activated Off Injured Reserve, Mueller Sent Back To Milwaukee

By Amanda DiPaolo

The Nashville Predators will get back a familiar face in the lineup tonight when they host the Detroit Red Wings. Steve Sullivan has been activated off of injured reserve after suffering a lower body injury on December 23 against Ottawa. Sullivan was placed on injured reserve December 26 and has missed the last 18 games.

The team has also announced that Chris Mueller has been reassigned to the Milwaukee Admirals. In 15 games for Nashville, Mueller, playing on a line with Matt Halischuk and JP Dumont, recorded three assists while averaging 8:38 of ice time. At the AHL level, Mueller is second in goals for the Admirals with 13 and is fifth in points at 21, but has only played in 35 of 47 games.

After tonight, the Predators host the Edmonton Oilers for the first time this season on Monday night. Tickets are still available for that game. Tonight’s game at Bridgestone Arena has less than 200 tickets available for sale.
