There’s no better place to take the pulse of the Nashville Predators fanbase than Twitter, and as of right now that pulse is frantic. The 5-1 loss to Jeff Carter and the Kings last night has a lot of people upset. Some of them are calling for heads to roll, as you’d expect. Others are disappointed but want their fellow fans to have some faith. Here’s a sampling of the reaction to last night’s game.
@wbrettwilson No, it’s not.. I’m not sure I can pay my money to see this product any longer. #oldmanhockey #nhl #preds

Barry Trotz said after the game last night that there would be some changes coming. Other than raiding the Milwaukee Admirals for fresh young legs or looking for more waiver pickups (Zach Boychuk anyone?), it’s hard to imagine what David Poile would be willing to do at this point. Still, it’s clear this team isn’t very good right now – the fanbase never gets this upset when they are. The one sure thing at this point is that you can count on Trotz keeping his job as the coach of the Nashville Predators. Outside of that, all bets are off.
