Predators Game Day: Meet Me in St. Louis

The Nashville Predators season begins tonight as they matchup against their divisional-rival the St. Louis Blues.

All signs point toward another low-scoring, gritty game between these two, and I’m sure no love has been lost over the off-season. I’d put the probability that Rich Clune drops the gloves for Nashville at somewhere north of 75 percent.

Check out the NHL’s predominately stats-based preview of tonight’s contest here

On the Forecheck also takes a look at tonight’s game, including asking some pointed questions about the Blues for this upcoming campaign.

Smashville 24/7 calls for a goaltender battle between Pekka Rinne and Jaroslav Halak (as should be expected).

I’ll be leaving Nashville around noon today to drive to St. Louis for the game, I just can’t miss the opportunity to see the first NHL game for Seth Jones.

It’s finally game day, can’t wait!
