Morning Skate: Fixing the Predators

Since Saturday’s 5-2 loss to the Washington Capitals much has been tweeted and written about what’s wrong with the Nashville Predators.

For some, the answer is simple. For others, not so much.

Jim Diamond says the answer for ending Nashville’s woes is more complicated than just firing head coach Barry Trotz. (I have to agree with him on this.)

The Tennessean explains that the time to panic for the Preds is right about now. (If you’ve seen the stats for teams making the playoffs that don’t already hold a top eight spot at Thanksgiving, you’d be worried too.)

Finally, our recap from Saturday’s fifth straight loss gives some insight into at least one major issue with the Predators game right now.
