In the space of two minutes of game time, a lot changed for the Nashville Predators in their contest against the New Jersey Devils last night.
Nashville tied the contest at two with less than 11 seconds remaining in regulation and got the game-winning goal from Shea Weber less than 90 seconds into overtime.
A quick switch of emotions for forward Patric Hornqvist and the rest of the Predators (25-23-8) to be sure.
The team from Music City is right back in action tonight when they take on their Central Division rivals, the St. Louis Blues (36-12-5).
Hornqvist says Nashville needs to use the emotion and boost from their win over the Devils to help them take down the highly skilled Blues.
The Blues are 2-0 against the Predators so far this season, the clubs will meet three more times this season including tonight.
Faceoff is at 7:00 p.m. (CST) in the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
