Yesterday, two of the three Nashville Predators participating in the 22nd Winter Olympic games saw their first action in Sochi, Russia.
Switzerland claimed a 1-0 victory over Latvia when Predators forward Simon Moser lit the lamp with just 7.9 seconds remaining in the contest. In the other game taking place on the opening day for men’s hockey, Sweden registered a 4-2 victory over the Czech Republic.
The other eight teams participating in the Olympiad will see their first action today, including Nashville’s captain Shea Weber when Canada plays Norway at 11 a.m. (CST).
