Predlines Headlines: A Hint At Ryan Ellis Re-Signing?

Well, we’re getting getting close folks. We are just 43 days away from the drop of the puck in Tampa Bay for the Predators preseason opener against the Lightning.

In case you missed it, we ranked Viktor Stalberg’s top three goals from last season yesterday in our “Top 3 Goals” series, be sure and take a look.

Did David Poile’s quote hint at Ryan Ellis being re-signed by the Predators?

”We feel very confident in our goaltending with Pekka Rinne coming back healthy this season, and our defense led by Shea Weber, Roman Josi, young players like Seth Jones, Mattias Ekholm and Ryan Ellis.” – GM David Poile
Matt Larkin of The Hockey News writes about his interview with Predators GM David Poile where Poile praises the defensemen and includes Ryan Ellis as one of the solid blue-liners on the Predators roster. I think the quote speaks for itself.

What was the best home game last year for the Predators?

Bridgestone Arena looks good…

EA Sports continues their daily teasers of screenshots and videos of NHL 15. EA tweeted a shot of what Bridgestone Arena will look like on the highly anticipated hockey game that will be released on September 9.

Some updates and rumblings around the Predators AHL club, the Milwaukee Admirals

The Admirals have had tremendous talent over the past few seasons but may be losing some key-players to Nashville next season. Veteran leadership and the emergence of young players will be key for the Admirals to fight for a Calder Cup.
