Nashville Predators fans are probably spoiled when it comes to watching hockey in Smashville.

If they haven’t been to other arenas in the country, Nashville Predators fans have no idea just how good they have it here.  This week, a listing  came out for them to find out.

Stadium Journey.com ranked all of the NHL Stadiums this week in this article and the Bridgestone Arena and the Nashville Predators ranked pretty high. Not that we would have expected any less from the National Venue of the year.

In the listing, The Nashville Predators ranked 7th but were actually tied for 5th in the league with Tampa Bay and Philadelphia.

The teams were rated on a scale from 1-5 in different categories to show the best NHL Arena Experience.  Here is how the Preds stacked up:

Food & Beverage  – 5 ♦♦♦♦♦

They were shocked at all of the options and thought it was all good.  They particularly were impressed that there was Nashville Hot Chicken

Atmosphere  – 4 ♦♦♦♦

"The atmosphere is really where Bridgestone Arena will blow you away as a Predators fan, a visiting fan, or even just a casual fan with no team to root for. You’re not just attending a hockey game when coming to Bridgestone Arena, you’re attending a gigantic party with nearly 20,000 people."

Their only complaint was the width of the seats. Perhaps that is being taken care of with the addition of the new seating that the Nashville Predators are currently putting in.

Neighborhood – 5 ♦♦♦♦♦

They love the atmosphere around the Arena and Lower Broadway as does everyone.  We bet they wanted to give this a 6!

Fans – 5 ♦♦♦♦♦

They loved the passion of the fans and the creativity of the chants.  C’mon, it’s Smashville, what did you expect?

Access  – 4 ♦♦♦♦

Hey, we can’t be blamed for the lack of mass transit.  We all need a little walk after all of that Hot Chicken and Barbecue anyway!

Return on Investment – 4 ♦♦♦♦

We all know that it’s getting tougher to get a good ticket without a plan.  Used to be you knew someone that had a few extras but that all seems to have gone by the wayside lately.

Extras – 4 ♦♦♦♦

They loved the live music, the food and being able to buy a beer out on the plaza.  Oh yeah, and they love the great chants that Preds fans yell at the opposing goalie!

We, the citizens of Smashville know what we have here.  If we keep getting reviews like this it will be even harder to get a seat!  But it sure does look like this Southern Hockey experiment is paying off, doesn’t it?
