The Nashville Predators signed forward Steve Moses to a one-year contract worth $1 mil back on April 9. The 25 year old forward played in the KHL last season with Jokerit Helsinki where he scored 36 goals and added 21 helpers in just 60 regular season games. He also had five goals and two assists in 10 playoff games as well.
The Massachusetts native is a member of Team USA at the IIHF World Championships that got underway Friday morning. Moses and Team USA faced-off against none other than Team Finland with Pekka Rinne in net for the Fins.
Moses got the best of Rinne late in the first period with this exceptional backhanded goal:

Seth Jones is also a part of this Team USA. The U.S. currently leads Finland 3-1 headed into the third period of play.
