
4. The Toronto Maple Leafs
The youth movement north of the border will continue to make strides in the NHL. After surprisingly good seasons, Auston Matthews, William Nylander, and Mitch Marner will try to eclipse the seventy point mark. The defense was the issue last season, but looks to have improved since last year. The additions of Travis Dermott and Ron Hainsey will also round out their top six. The goaltending remains reliable as Frederik Andersen is under thirty and still a starter.
The Nashville Predators should fear the Leafs because they are quickly becoming one of the best teams in the league. The Leafs center corp is top five in the NHL which as we know, is the Predators kryptonite. The Leafs will be a dominating force in the league for years to come, so it’s imperative that the Predators win the cup while the Predators window is open.
