Who I think the Nashville Predators should pursue
All in all, I think they should pursue Daniel Winnik or John-Michael Liles. Both pass the eye test and put up reasonable advanced stats. I’d probably choose Liles over Winnik just because he’s likely to cost less and shore up the third pairing, even when Emelin returns to it. Time will tell though, and general manager David Poile isn’t known for rushing decisions.
