Entering the two-game set with the St.Louis Blues, the Nashville Predators had lost six in a row and in serious danger of falling way out of the playoff race.

Then the Predators managed to get a gutsy 4-2 win in St.Louis to stop some of the bleeding leading up to this game. But everyone is due to win a game sooner or later.

However, the Predators followed that up with an even gutsier performance just two days later to beat the Blues again, this time in Nashville.

This win came via the shootout from an unlikely source of Daniel Carr. It helped the Predators get some new life, and make us loyal fans think maybe there is hope after all.

Juuse Saros got the start in this particular game and made 23 saves on 25 shots faced. He held the Blues onslaught at bay in the final period while the score was tied 2-2.

Nick Bonino and Ryan Johansen were your regulation goal scorers, while the team as a whole sprayed 39 shots on goal at the Blues.
