Less than a week into the season, things are already starting to take shape for the realigned Central Division and the Nashville Predators.

The Predators have started the season 2-0 after a sweep of the Columbus Blue Jackets in pretty convincing fashion. Goaltending and team defense really stood out for the Predators.

The division looks to be very tight after you get past the Tampa Bay Lightning. Some projections even have spots two through six coming down to the last week of the regular season.

The Dallas Stars, a team expected to be in the top-four and make another playoff position, hasn’t played a game yet due to COVID-19 outbreaks within the team. They will open their season later this week against the Predators.

With a small sample size of the 56-game regular season in the books, let’s see how the Predlines staff ranks the division and if anything has changed from their preseason ranks from three weeks ago.
