As a whole the Nashville Predators are underperforming and coming up short, especially against the really good teams in the Central Division. But there’s still some time to right the ship.

There have been some players that have been pleasant surprises, along with some players who have stood out more than others. Even if that’s for better or worse.

Coming into the season the Predators had a new-look roster. Lots of departures from last season that had GM David Poile bring in a blend of veterans and up-and-comers.

We expected a youth movement of sorts over the offseason, but that never really came to fruition like many would’ve hoped. There’s still plenty of time for that to happen, though.

Time to check in on the players who are really sticking out for the Predators early on, as well as the players who are going to be big factors into getting this thing turned around as the team sits at 4-5-0.
