38-year-old Pekka Rinne won’t be playing goalie for the Nashville Predators next year. Rinne announced he’ll be hanging up his pads after spending his entire 683-game career with Nashville.
Rinne is a Preds legend. He leads the team in practically every statistical category for goaltenders. Games played, wins, shutouts, saves and average goals against… all those records belong to Rinne.
He’s top 20 in NHL history in both wins and shutouts.
Rinne was a four-time NHL All-Star and a Vezina Trophy winner. It was an amazing run.
