Welcome to the NHL Juuso Parssinen…
Juuso Parssinen has become a name that Nashville Predators fans have been anxiously waiting to see in an NHL sweater. That opportunity finally came tonight, November 12, against the New York Rangers at Bridgestone Arena in Smashville. Partly due to the recent struggles of the Nashville Predators, Parssinen was called upon in an attempt to bring some more offensive firepower to a team that was having a hard time finding the back of the net.
Juuso has been a pivotal part of the Nashville Predators AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, success this season with two goals and seven assist in ten games played. Juuso did not wait long to make a difference in his first NHL game, finding the back of the net just 4:58 into the first period.
What’s next for Juuso?
After having 17:49 minutes of ice time, scoring a goal on two shots on goal, and making a difference having a tenacious forecheck and presence on the ice all night it seems as though Juuso should be in Smashville to stay. Juuso’s play was a difference maker against the New York Rangers.
If other players up and down the Nashville Predators step up it is possible that Juuso Parssinen will be sent back down to Milwaukee. However, after last night’s game, there is a good chance that Parssinen is in Smashville to stay.
