It Still Isn’t Enough for the Nashville Predators

While there are a few areas that the Nashville Predators have excelled in this season, I still do not think it is going to be enough to earn them a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs this season.

It takes a lot more than good goaltending, a good penalty kill, and powerful faceoff to win games and the Predators have not been able to do much more than that this season. General Manager David Poile said today that “I do not thing we are a buyer” and “if things don’t change more favorably, we certainly could be a seller” when on with 102.5 The Game.

The Predators may be sellers come the NHL trade deadline and this team could be heading for the rebuild that fans have been calling for. It’s time to blow it up and start over if this struggling Nashville Predators team cannot start scoring goals and drastically improving their play.

The trade deadline is just a few weeks away and it will be interesting to see what happens with this team over that period.
