Tomáš Vokoun was one of the first member of the Predators organization. After being selected in the expansion draft from the Montreal Canadiens, Vokoun instantly made an impact. With a .908 SV% on a pretty bad Nashville team, the future looked bright in net. Vokoun took over the starter position in the 2002-03 season where he posted a .918 SV% and 2.20 GAA.

Once Mike Dunham was traded, Vokoun turned on the jets and solidified himself as the best in team history—before Rinne came into the equation of course. He finished his 8-year tenure with Nashville with .913 SV% and 2.55 GAA with 21 shutouts.
