Chris Mason is the second longest tenured goalie in Predators history, only one season less than Rinne who has 15 under his belt. Even though he was Honky Tonk's backup netminder for the majority of his games, he still has some of the best stats among the squad's greatest.

Despite playing 71 less games than Dunham, he has more shutouts. When comparing the amounts of shutouts to games played, Dunham has recorded a shutout in 3% of his matchups. Mason on the other hand, has 8% of his games recorded as shutouts. Mason was a very reliable goalie, posting a .910 SV% and 2.68 GAA.
