Nashville improved their lineup drastically in the offseason. The additions of veteran forwards and defensemen will push the team in the right direction. The 2024 free agency group is ready to get back into action, this time with more chemistry. Marchessault has figured out the strengthens and weaknesses of his linemates and knows how to engage with them.

Besides the pinch of rookies on the roster, the team is full of veterans who have tons of experience with each other. Marchessault is an elite sniper and great playmaker. He averages around 28 goals per season and his 21 from last season was just a slight drop off of it.

If everything goes according to plan, his numbers should go up. Based on his temporary position at the start of the season, his goals might be a tad bit lower to begin with. However, once he is moved back into the top six, the G's will only add up.
