Josi & Forsberg in a universe of their own on Preds scoring list

Filip Forsberg: 681 Points (318 Goals, 363 Assists) 2nd All Time

Yes, a crazy jump. Forsberg has played at a pace over the last two years that is pure insanity. He's a point-a-game player and a threat every time he touches the ice. He has elevated the team and the players around him. It is special what he's doing ,and if he keeps it up for another year or two, there will start to be some rumblings about the Hall of Fame.

He's also all but a lock to be the Predators ' all-time points leader. It isn't a question of it, but a question of when. It could be this season, or it could be an ongoing battle.

Roman Josi: 724 Points (190 Goals, 534 Assists) 1st All Time

The Predators' all-time leading scorer, Josi, has been the model of consistency. You could set your watch to the Swiss sensation, and year after year, he's delivered. However, for the first time in his career, we have questions.

After being diagnosed with a heart condition, Josi has claimed that he'll be able to return to play, but the waiting makes you think about at what capacity and for how long? He's already 35, and the writing is on the wall. If he plays a full year and has a 50 or 60-point season, he could hold off Filip Forsberg for a bit, but his spot at the top of the scoring list won't be for much longer. However, his legacy with the franchise will be forever.
