The Nashville Predators added two more promising prospects in the fourth round of the 2026 NHL Draft, selecting defenseman Jakub Floris at pick No. 106 and center Justin Graf at pick No. 118.
Nashville previously selected winger Wyatt Cullen at No. 10, defenseman Tommy Bleyl at No, 31 and goalie Dmitri Borichev at No. 70.
Floris, 18, is the second defenseman drafted by the Predators in the draft. He played nine games with Lukko's U18 club, scoring three goals and nine points before joining it's U20 club, scoring 10 goals and 18 points. The Slovakian right-handed defender represented his nation's colors at the WJC-18, where he would put up a four-point performance, taking home the silver medal.
At 6-foot-3, 194 pounds, Floris stands tall against the opposition. He is a strong two-way defenseman with an edge on offense. EliteProspects wrote that he "generates reliable value on both sides of the ice. He’s a proactive defender who leverages his tool advantage to pinch aggressively, force dump-ins by gapping up early, and has the frame to battle effectively down low.
Graf, 18, is the third American drafted by the Predators this draft. The Boston native scored 23 goals and 55 points with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the USHL. He previously played with The Rivers School in the USHS-prep, posting back-to-back 13-goal campaigns. The center represented USA at the WJC-19, posting a lone assist in five games.
He is committed to Harvard University for the 2027-28 season and is expected to return to the USHL this season. Graf uses his 6-foot-1 frame to his advantage, driving the play with speed. Rather than making flashy plays, he opts to find the smartest play available. He drives the play with endurance, staying on the ice as long as needed. His older brother, Collin Graf, plays for the San Jose Sharks.
"Capable of seizing passing lanes as they appear and creating them with smooth handling adjustments, Graf has the technical ability to make his mark at the next level and the motor to earn the minutes needed to put up higher numbers."EliteProspects
Floris and Graf are solid selections and possess a lot of potential for the Predators, who keeps on adding to an already impressive prospect pool.
