With a 6-1 win against Slovakia, Finland is medaled bronze for the fourth time in their hockey history. Olympic season is officially done for the Nashville Predators, and a successful one at that. Our four guys had great performances on the national stage and look to bring that back to Nashville.

Obviously, some saw more team success than others but overall, they all stood out. They held their role and showed up in crucial moments. Let's have some fun and rank who performed the best. This is purely based on personal stats and not team performance because let's be honest, that would be handed to Finland.

4. Filip Forsberg's ice time troubles lowered his rank

It was clear from the beginning of the tournament that Forsberg was going to be underutilized. In his first game, he was only on the ice for one minute. Some suspected that the main issue was a chemistry problem with Sweden Head Coach Sam Hallam. Hallam stated that some players aren't going to play because it's hard to juggle a lineup with 25 guys. Considering Forsberg is one of the best Swedish goal scorers, it's pretty questionable to leave him out of the lineup.

When Forsberg did get ice time however, some weaknesses showed. He had a few turnovers in his own end, handing the opponents a prime scoring chance. He did manage to rack up two points, including a crucial goal which helped send Sweden to the quarterfinals against USA. Forsberg being ranked fourth doesn't mean he's worse than the other three in reality, but right now it's hard to compete with the others.
