Sitting with the third-worst record in the NHL, taking lopsided losses regularly, and now fielding a decimated starting lineup, the Nashville Predators are hoping this nightmare of a season is just a one-off that they'll wake up from in 2025-26.

The Predators got absolutely punked in their most recent losses at the hands of the Columbus Blue Jackets to a final score of 8-4 and to the Dallas Stars by a 5-1 score . The Predators look to be heading for the third-lowest point total of the NHL and also the third-highest odds to win the NHL Draft Lottery with 11.5 percent chance.

With just seven games left for the Predators to maybe win a few games and go into the offseason at least with some sort of positive momentum, it's time to start think about the offseason to-do list and addressing the several needs this team has for 2025-26.
