Erik Haula

Haula was a flexible depth option at the start of this season, buthe is putting together a stellar season at this juncture for the Predators.

Getting power play time is helping boost Haula's offensive numbers, and he's been on the plus side of his faceoffs (52%) all while being deployed in every situation.

Haula's 5-on-5 numbers need a boost, and if he improves that area and his play driving improves enough to tip past that magical 50% mark on Corsi, then Haula and the Predators might be on all green.

Of course, as a pending UFA, if the Predators go belly up before the trade deadline, Haula's increased production means he'd fetch a premium pick or two if he goes elsewhere.

Honorable Mentions: Filip Forsberg and Roman Josi

The team's best players, as well as the best players in franchise history, both will always have a hand in team's direction. However, even if both players play to their lofty averages, it might not be enough.
