These players should stick around after the Nashville Predators do their selling at trade deadline

We know the Nashville Predators are going to have to sell off some key players as they hang around in the wildcard race, but the question is who stays after the trade deadline passes?

Regardless of how much the Nashville Predators keep hanging around in the murky wildcard picture in the Western Conference, GM Barry Trotz is still going to have to sell off some key pieces.

The last thing Trotz can do is roll the dice on a wildcard bubble team with all of these upcoming free agents he has, not to mention some other big ticket trade pieces who has trade values that keep rising.

How will Trotz manage all of this in the next month and a half? That is quite literally the multi-million dollar question that no one knows for sure right now.

Despite that, I'm going to do my best here to give my thoughts on who should stick around post-trade deadline for the Nashville Predators as they sit here over a week into January and sit four points back of the wildcard, with a chance to make it two points if they can beat the Washington Capitals on Sunday night.
