The Nashville Predators season has been over for over two weeks now, even though it is still too early for them to be in full-fledged "offseason mode," if you will. Fans still have not gotten the answers they are dying to get, not even whether or not Andrew Brunette will return as head coach, although we will surely get more clarity in Barry Trotz's end of season press conference this coming week.
Clearly though, the Predators will have to make some alterations to how they operated in 2024-25. They had a litany of issues encompassing every aspect of the organization, and they will not be able to fix everything, but hopefully we can see at least a step or two in a defined and more favorable direction.
For Barry Trotz, his biggest job is addressing the personnel, and of course, nobody in their right mind expects him to be able to offload any of the big contracts he dished out last offseason. But there are still other questions directly related to the roster, and part of making necessary changes could involve saying goodbye to three Predators' veterans.
