PredLines would like to challenge you to see if you can beat our writers in the Stanley Cup Playoff Bracket Challenge!
The Nashville Predators are going to the Playoffs again. This season we would like to do something a little special. We would like to announce that we will be holding a Stanley Cup Playoff Bracket Challenge on NHL.com!
The best news is that we have a nice prize for the winner. The Nashville Predators have been nice enough to supply Two Predators Tickets to a game next season for the winner! It will have to be next year because the contest won’t end before the end of the playoffs!
You can also compete for bragging rights against the PredLines Staff and your friends and co-workers. It will certainly help to have some hockey knowledge but just like the NCAA Bracket pools someone can usually win something like this by picking the colors of the uniforms they like. It is very easy to play, the rules are below and at the site.

How to Play
The 2016 Stanley Cup® Playoffs Bracket Challenge™ tests your ability to predict the outcome of the 2016 Stanley Cup® Playoffs.
Entry is free and simple:
- Click on a team logo to choose the winner of each series matchup for each round of the Playoffs, starting with the 1st Round. Be sure to select a Stanley Cup® Champion!
- Predict the series length for each 1st Round matchup to earn potential bonus points (available for the 1st Round only).
- Predict the total number of goals that will be scored during the Stanley Cup® Final.
- Save your bracket. You can then (but are not required to) share it with your friends and family.
- You can change your picks up until 6:59 p.m. ET on April 13, 2016
Basic Scoring
- Earn 10 points by picking the correct winner of each series for the 1st Round.
- Earn 25 points by picking the correct winner of each series for the 2nd Round.
- Earn 50 points by picking the correct winner of each series for the Conference Finals.
- Earn 100 points by picking the correct winner of the Stanley Cup® Final.
Bonus Points
- Earn 3 bonus points by correctly picking the 1st Round winners, plus the total number of games played in each series.
Tiebreaker
- Predict the total number of goals that will be scored during the Stanley Cup® Final.
