Going into Game 2, Nashville Predators fans have many questions surrounding the team as they try to avoid going down 2-0, and we have answers.

Fans took to Twitter and sent in their most dire questions about the squad. If you would like to be featured on next week’s rendition just tweet your question @PredlinesNSH or email me at colbydguy1@gmail.com

Would you sit Wayne Simmonds and insert Rocco Grimaldi today?

-Ray Glidewell (@raygwde)

I am a huge fan of Rocco Grimaldi and I think he would add a lot to the lineup, but I wouldn’t take out Wayne Simmonds for him just yet. Simmonds is a guy who I can see performing well tonight

, and that’s why the Predators picked him up at last year’s trade deadline.

I would take Austin Watson out of the lineup for him though, as Rocco could inject some offensive touch onto that third line, as Watson didn’t look great in game one in my honest opinion.

If the Nashville Predators go down 0-2 on home ice should they be worried?

-Joey (@jbartnicki57)

I think it could very well be a cause for concern, as going to Dallas in an 0-2 hole is going to be a tough thing to get out of, as the Stars have a tough roster and playing in Dallas will be much harder to do than playing in the comfort of Bridgestone Arena.

Granted, anything can happen in the playoffs, just like when the Kings beat the Sharks in seven games after trailing 3-0 to begin the series, but I think the Preds would much rather win tonight and have the series tied at one then stuck down two games heading into Dallas.

Finish this sentence: The Nashville Predators will win the Stanley Cup this year if…

-Jefferey Martin (@jeff_sdhs99)

Pekka Rinne stays consistent all playoffs. We’ve seen in past years that Pekka Rinne usually falls off during the playoffs, so if the Nashville Predators are going anywhere, Rinne needs to exercise his demons and play well the entire length of the playoffs.

I will say that he didn’t look bad in game one, most of the goals he gave up were shots from the point where he was heavily screened, so I would say our loss in game one wasn’t Rinne’s fault whatsoever.

I will also say that the Preds offense needs to turn it up a notch, because it looked very dry on Wednesday, and if it keeps looking like that, they might be a first-round exit.

How good of a pickup was Bryan Boyle?

-Tommy Navitski (@tommy_navitski)

In my opinion, I think he was a decent pickup for the Nashville Predators fourth line. Granted the Preds gave up a lot for him, but he is a good two way forward for the fourth line, he can kill penalties if needed and he has played in over 100 career playoff games, so he adds a much needed veteran presence to the locker room.

Boyle did notch an assist in game one, so watch out for him tonight because I think he could play a huge role in game two, whether he gets on the score sheet or not.
