Chances are if you’re a diehard Nashville Predators fan then you’re also probably a big fan of the NHL and the sport of hockey in general. The regular season is less than two months away.

The NFL is about to kick off their 102nd season, and it goes without saying that many of you and your buddies, families, and co-workers are gearing up for week one with your annual fantasy football drafts! (Sorry Tennesseans, my allegiances lie with the Los Angeles Rams, but your Titans are alright I guess.)

This is a significant time not only for our sports fandom as a whole, but it also means the NHL is in the on-deck circle when it comes to fantasy sports and the puck being dropped on a new season!

With development camp concluding last week for the Nashville Predators, the focus is shifting to rookie camp and the main training camp.

We are coming close to the start of the 2021-22 season and that means it is time for some Nashville Predators fantasy projections!

Here are the first five Preds in a full team preview series. We will look at some basic point total projections broken down into goals and assists that follow most standard draft criteria. Check back each week to see if your favorite Preds have been covered ahead of your NHL fantasy drafts!

*Full disclosure, I am not a “fantasy expert” more of an “enthusiast” but I did just win both a regular season and playoff title this past season so I am feeling pretty good about these… *
