We are now two months into the Nashville Predators season, and are getting a better idea each day of what the team truly is. We are still not 100% of it yet, but overall they are what we expected: an inexperienced group that will go through their ups and downs and take time to fully forge an identity.

As the the Predators are now 8-3-0 in their last 11, we are hoping that this is a sign of them figuring things out, as they had gone through a 1-6-0 stretch right beforehand and looked lost in doing so.

One thing we are starting to figure out more clearly, however, is the role that each player will have on the team. The Predators are starting to see their players emerge at the top of several key statistical categories, and some are gaining a firm hold on their lead in such categories.

The question now is whether that will continue to hold true or change, and as in most situations like this, the truth is somewhere in the middle
