The Nashville Predators have had a wild offseason, but their fun isn't slowing down one bit.
Team Canada and Team USA announced their rosters for the 2026 World Junior Summer Showcase, and a total of seven Predators prospects were selected to represent. Brady Martin, Cameron Reid, Alex Huang and Jack Ivankovic will play for Canada, while Wyatt Cullen, Tommy Bleyl and Jacob Rombach will play for USA.
After a successful development camp, these seven players are ready to compete against some of the best youngsters in the world.
Team Canada
Brady Martin
Martin is one of the Predators top center prospects, and potentially one of the first to play in the NHL this season. The 2025 fifth overall pick had a busy year last season, playing three games with Nashville to kick it off, later posting a point-per-game campaign with the Soo Greyhounds before scoring his first professional goal in the AHL playoffs with Milwaukee. He had a strong World Juniors outing with four goals and eight points in six games, winning bronze.
Cameron Reid
Reid was one of the OHL's top defensemen for the last couple years, scoring 15 goals and 56 points in 57 games this past season. As the captain of the Kitchener Rangers, he helped lead his teams to an OHL title, and ultimately the Memorial Cup. He won bronze alongside Martin at last season's WJC, bringing more hardware to this year's showcase. He's committed to playing for Michigan in the NCAA this season.
Alex Huang
Like Reid, Huang is also committed to the NCAA this season, playing for Harvard. He was second in QMJHL defensemen points with 70, sitting 11 behind fellow Predators prospect Bleyl. The 2025 fourth round pick helped the Chicoutimi Saguenéens win the QMJHL title. He was also awarded the league's most sportsmanlike player trophy.
Jack Ivankovic
Ivankovic is the only goalie prospect to represent the Predators at this year's showcase, but arguably one of the best in the entire Showcase. He spent last season with Michigan, posting a .921-save percentage and 2.15 goals-against-average with three shutouts. He will be joined by Reid this season, continuing to bring Predators hockey to the state of Michigan. Ivankovic also played alongside Reid and Martin to win bronze last season.
Team USA
Wyatt Cullen
Cullen was considered a steal by the Predators at tenth overall this draft, and for good reason. He finished the season ninth in points in the National Team Development Program league with 45 (16 goals and 29 assists). At last season's WJC, he scored three goals and nine points in five games. He was later named to the U18 WJC All-Star Team. He'll play for Minnesota in the NCAA later this year.
Tommy Bleyl
Much like Cullen, Bleyl was also considered a massive steal for the Predators at the draft. As mentioned previously, he led the QMJHL in points with 81, being named CHL rookie of the year and QMJHL defenseman of the year. In the playoffs, he scored six points and tallied 22 assists for 28 points. With the level of skill he demonstrated with the Moncton Wildcats, this kid can be a serious gamechanger at the Showcase. He is committed to playing with Ryker Lee at Michigan State this season.
Jacob Rombach
Rombach played with Minnesota last season, scoring one goal and four points in 36 contests. He isn't the most offensive player in the world, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. At 6-foot-6, 209 pounds, Rombach is primarily a stay-at-home defender. He won gold at the 2024-25 World Junior A Challenge under-19 where he scored one goal and tallied one assist in five games, being named to the All-Star Team.
