Number 2: Calle Jarnkrok

Of all the players on the Nashville Predators, none will draw the ire of fans like Calle Jarnkrok. Why? Because he was protected in the Expansion Draft over James Neal. And, while he notched 31 points in 2016-17, that will not be enough next year.

Jarnkrok has three seasons under his belt. The last two saw consecutive 30 points seasons. A good amount of his changes were with the third line. Should he see time with the second line, Jarnkrok’s ability to start plays will be an asset.

He may not be a 20+ goal scorer, but can earn enough assists to obtain 50 or more points in a season. Given space and time on the ice, good things could happen for Calle Jarnkrok.
